Capacitor measurement

PSØ2 offers to ways to measure capacities. In both the sensor capacitor is compared to a reference capacitor.

Floating Capacitors

Both capacitors are discharged through one and the same resistor.

Grounded Capacitors

For grounded capacitors the following circuit should be used:
