PS08 vs. PS081

Both the PS08 and the PS081 are suitable for a wide range of weight measurement applications.

For greater functionality and sophistication like extended memory, larger number of input ports, unit conversions, external LCD and SPI to LCD support, the PS081 is the best choice.

For simple applications that require less memory and functionality, the PS08 is an ideal choice.

Both chips are superior to traditional analog-to-digital converters. Using the PICOSTRAIN® strain gage measurement principle a truly digital strain gage is realized. The compact size and programmability allows for versatility in product and device design.

Both chips operate on ultra low current for extended battery life making them the first choice for portable, handheld, solar powered and wireless types of weight measurement scales and systems.

The chart is an overview of the differences in the PS08 and PS081. For complete details review the PS08 Data Sheet and PS081 Data Sheet.
